Congratulations!
You’re getting married, and one of the first questions you’re likely going to ask, after the “when do we get married”, is where.
You may already have an idea, or dang, you may even know exactly where you want to have this epic day celebrated. But for many, especially those who have decided on a destination wedding here in Barbados, choosing a venue can be like closing your eyes and pointing on a map.
Sometimes, you just don’t know what you’re going to get.
Luckily, this post was created to help you navigate some of the most beautiful locations to get married here in Barbados. These venues are ideal for both your ceremony and reception. While this list is not exhaustive, it’s a great starting point, and will help you immensely as you start planning your wedding.

There is no secret that this is my favorite venue in Barbados.. And here’s why:
Halton Great House is giving MAJOR fairytale/rustic/cool vibes for your Barbados wedding.
This stunning house is seriously like stepping into your own private paradise, with so many mini locations, the variety of wedding photos will blow you away.
There are plenty of ceremony spaces to choose from (I’ve photographed plenty of ceremonies in about 6 different locations at this one venue!)
We’re talking lush tropical gardens that’ll make your guests’ jaws DROP, a drive way like you’ve never seen before, and gorgeous island views. The best part? You get total privacy to party the night away under the stars, with gorgeous lighting in those ancient trees creating pure MAGIC after sunset.
Bonus points: there’s SO much space for guests to explore, amazing photo spots around every corner, and that perfect mix of Barbados heritage with modern touches.
Double Bonus: Halton also has a little cottage with a gorgeous hidden garden that is perfect for getting ready, and some pre ceremony photos.

Lonestar Restaurant is a beautiful spot for intimate weddings in Barbados. Nestled on the platinum west coast (hello, stunning sunset photos!),this beachfront gem offers the perfect mix of laidback luxury and Caribbean cool.
What makes Lonestar extra special? The food is absolutely to-die-for (seriously, their seafood will blow your guests’ minds!), the staff treats you like royalty, and the open-air setting means those sea breezes keep everyone comfortably cool (especially important if you’re getting married between July and October.)
Plus, the restaurant’s stylish, modern-meets-beachy vibe means minimal decorating needed – Mother Nature’s already hooked you up with the best backdrop ever!
A huge plus is that the Lonestar also has a gorgeous boutique Hotel which is perfect for getting ready.

Gorgeous wedding and beach vibes is exactly what La Cabane Restaurant offers.
It’s the coolest barefoot-luxury spot on Batts Rock Beach! This stunning beachfront hideaway is where boho meets Caribbean chic, with the most gorgeous crystal-clear waters as your ceremony backdrop.
What I LOVE about La Cabane, is their incredible farm-to-table menu. It will seriously wow your foodie guests, the rustic-chic wooden deck space transforms into the cutest reception area ever, and their tropical cocktails? Incredible.
The whole vibe is super laid-back, with string lights twinkling overhead as you dance the night away under the stars.
Plus, this hidden gem gives you that perfect mix of accessible but exclusive feels.

This is a true hidden gem, and I wish more couples would get married here!
It. Is. Stunning.
Hunte’s Garden is the ultimate venue for your intimate/ or microwedding. This breathtaking tropical wonderland feels like stepping into a secret fairy tale, with cascading flowers, exotic plants, and the most gorgeous winding paths creating natural “rooms” for your ceremony and photos.
It even has an elevation which is perfect for the actual ceremony.
The garden’s creator, Anthony Hunte, has crafted this lush haven with such love that you can literally feel the magic in the air (perfect wedding vibes, right?!).
You’ll be surrounded by vibrant orchids, towering palms,(no exaggeration here) and the gentle sounds of hummingbirds and classical music floating through the garden.
What I love about Huntes Garden, is the intimate atmosphere creates this incredible sense of being in your own private Eden, the lighting filtering through the canopy creates the most flattering natural glow for photos, and every single corner offers another jaw-dropping backdrop for your wedding album.
Plus, Mr. Hunte himself might even make an appearance to share fascinating garden stories with your guests – adding that authentic Barbados charm to your celebration.

Ok Food lovers + party people – QP Bistro is the perfect blend of sophisticated cool and fun Barbados vibes for your wedding.
This stunning restaurant brings all the urban-chic energy with its gorgeous waterfront setting. Picture celebrating your special day with breathtaking views of the calm west coast ocean and stylish modern decor.
The waterfront location gives you that perfect Barbados beauty without the sand-in-everything beach situation, while string lights reflect off the water as the sun sets for pure magical vibes.
PS: you’ll be watching the beautiful tarpon fish swimming under the cliff lights. Magical.

The Crane is a gorgeous cliffside venue. This iconic resort sits perched dramatically above one of the world’s most gorgeous pink-sand beach.
The cool thing about the The Crane, is that you get SO many stunning ceremony spots to choose from – lush tropical gardens or historic stone buildings with amazing architecture.

I love the easy vibe of the FishPot Restaurant and Little Good Harbour Boutique Hotel.
The Fish Pot is that perfect coastal treasure wedding spot where relaxed Barbados vibes meet seriously stunning beachfront magic.
Tucked away in a historic fort building right on the water’s edge in charming Little Good Harbour, this place is paradise-meets-personality in the best way possible, with a cool stone wall and a beach atmosphere.
It’s a win.
The intimate setting feels like your own private slice of Barbados, and the natural beauty means minimal decorating needed – just add some flowers and you’re golden!
The restaurant’s stone walls and wooden beams give those perfect rustic-chic vibes, while the oceanfront terrace transforms into the dreamiest reception spot as the stars come out. Your guests will absolutely fall in love with this authentic Barbados experience that perfectly balances laid-back beach vibes with enough sophistication to make your special day feel totally magical.

I hope this post helps you on your quest to find the perfect venue for your wedding! Remember, wherever you choose to get married, the story is still, and will forever be, about you.
It will be about the relationships, the laughs, the tears of joy and the memories of this one day,
The venue is just the house it’s held in.
You, along with your family and friends will turn it into your home for the day.
