When I told Marina I was coming to italy, she said “I need you to photograph me”.
Say no more.
I rented the coolest studio, Loft Studio Vicenza, in a remote area of Vicenza, about 30 days away from Torreglia, where we stay.
But first, Marina and I drove around looking for a coffee shop, and when we finally found one at the bottom of a little hill, she had her usual cappuccino, I had my usual “Americano” and talked, as we usually do, for hours.
Photographing Marina was like adding more layers to our friendship. It’s always a wonderfully strange dynamic photographing people close to me because I get to see them in a different way.
I’ll let these photographs speak for themselves..

Hey, I’m Aniya (Ah-Knee-Ya) – the ultimate empath and storyteller.
That’s a weird combo, isn’t it?
Kind of, but not really.
I have strong feelings about pretty much everything. And because of this, I know the value of a moment that needs to be photographed.
My clients have coined me a “Connection specialist”, and I’ll happy take that.
Whether I’m photographing your wedding, your family, or your awesome self in my studio, I’m feeling your feels, and making damn honest, beautiful photographs for you.
MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
Tattoos are my timeline. I play tennis, read vehemently, and travel the world. Sensual, empathetic, ex-criminologist, pretty good Italian speaker. Slightly irreverent. Terrified of white lizards and frogs. Kids and elders are my storytellers.
Dancing is joy; justice is non-negotiable.
