a quiet, gorgeous beach wedding

at Landfall House in Sandy Lane, Barbados

On a small beach with no one around, Anouchka and Patrick giggled and cried as they said their vows.
They were the most calm, cool people I think I’ve ever met.

About 30 of their closest family and friends watched on as their best friend officiated their wedding.

How cool is that.

After the ceremony, Anouchka and Patrick just hung out on the beach while I photographed them, and when the sun set, they casually walked across to the pool, and cut their cake.

They nestled into the dining area where the laughs were loud, and the tears fell.

This one of of those weddings, that was so truly, and simply beautiful..

Thank you guys, so very much..

Aniya, XO

Having photographed hundreds of weddings

There’s nothing better than intimate weddings. Taking out all of the extras – the monogramed napkins, all of the “must do’s” and focusing on what’s important is really, the coolest kind of wedding to witness.

This is what Patrick and Anouchka had. At Landfall Villa, on a small beach on the west coast of Barbados, Anouchka walked barefoot on the sand to meet Patrick under a little arch where they laughed and cried as they read their vows to each other.

The belly rolling laughs continued during the few speeches at dinner, where they told stories of what make these two gorgeous souls perfect individually, and better together.

Anouchka & Patrick, thank you, for sharing this moment with me..
I am forever grateful..

ANiya, xo

Showing women their most Badass Self is my Speciality

Hey, I’m Aniya (Ah-Knee-Ya). Photographing women and giving them the space and freedom to be who they are is what I live for. I love connecting with people and hearing their stories – everybody has one.

I’m based in Barbados, and available for commissions worldwide.
