She is a killer hairdresser.
A Badass Life Design Coach.
(Double business owner).
And the most wonderful mother to her little girl.
What I loved most about this session, was her honesty about facing the fears she had when looking at herself, as we all do, and wanting to confront them. How did Ms. T do this? She asked me to take photographs of her when she had no clothes on, and no make up on. She said, “this is how I’m most vulnerable”. She felt exposed in the truest sense. She told me that she probably wouldn’t like those photos, but she needed them.
We put on her favorite Disney soundtracks, and let the soul come out of her. We sang, we danced, and we laughed together.
These sessions aren’t about bringing out one side of you, they’re about photographing the dynamic person you are. She didn’t hide, she didn’t hold back.
Thank you for this, Ms. T, till next time,

Tattoos are my timeline. I play tennis, read vehemently, and travel the world. Sensual, empathetic, ex-criminologist, pretty good Italian speaker. Slightly irreverent. Terrified of white lizards and frogs. Kids and elders are my storytellers.
Dancing is joy; justice is non-negotiable.
