When I opened my studio, I needed to find a make-up artist. But not just ANY makeup artist, I wanted the best. My clients mean the world to me, and if I was going to offer hairstyling and makeup as a service, I knew I had to reach out to this gem. 

I had known Mandy for years before, as we’ve worked so many weddings together. Her work always looked so effortless, minimal, and simply beautiful. (Of course, have a look at her amazing sci-fi kinda off the chart work as well. Holy smacks is all I have to say!)

Most of my clients come to me saying that they don’t want to look like someone they’re not. In fact, they’re almost terrified of looking at themselves with makeup on and seeing someone they don’t know. This is Mandy’s area. She completely takes a woman’s face, sees it for its natural beauty, and just elevates it a notch. She is an absolute rockstar. 

As wonderful as Mandy is at her craft, a true artist if I’ve ever known one, she is a beautiful person, inside, and out. Photographing her was one of the most magnificent experiences I’ve had photographing someone. She’s open, she’s honest and she gives you free rein to photograph her as I saw her. It was sublime.
