Boudoir Client Feature: Ms. D

I first photographed her in her beautiful ocean-view condo. She was on the cusp of a life change and needed a library of images for her new adventure. I had known her before through friends, but during this session, I got more insight into the fabulous person and killer businesswoman she is.

Fast forward a bit – I got an email from her, and my little heart started to flutter because I wanted to work with her again. She brought her A-Game to our first shoot, and I knew it could only get better.

And it did.

Having a photo session in general isn’t easy. Having a boudoir session? That’s you stepping into YOU – and it’s you being BRAVE. Not having “a reason” for a session, like a family session, or a wedding, or your business. The reason is you.

But the level of comfort between me and my client, and my client in general just grows with each shoot.

Let me share a bit about what she wrote:

”Aniya captured my story – every emotion in every part of my being. She told my story through my images. She saw what no one sees. She got it. I did this session to find myself because that’s the journey I’ve committed [to] at this stage of my life and that is exactly what we did. My images capture me, my journey, my story, and everything in between.”

I was able to tell her story because she let me. Because she trusted me. Because she had the confidence to let go.

Thank you for this…..

The trust will keep growing between us, and so the work will grow as well.

Aniya, xo
