I’m a Barbados based photographer celebrating the bodies and skin we are in, in a beautiful, timeless, minimal, artful way.

I photograph boudoir sessions for women, along with Maternity Sessions.

This experience is about you – from professional hair and makeup, to wardrobe guidance, and finally, to meticulously posing you from your head to toe, all you need to do is show up, we’ll take care of the rest.

This experience is for every mother, sister, friend, cousin, grandmother, who wants a reminder of how badass they are.

These sessions are for people who aren’t afraid to celebrate who they are, how far they’ve come, and all they’ve accomplished. It’s for the woman who wants to feel alive.

Once you are booked with me, I will send you a very comprehensive Boudoir Prep Guide that will walk you through absolutely everything you’ll need to know to prepare for the session.

I also get to know you a little more through my Pre-Session Questionnaire.

And as always, I’m with you every step of the way if you need help, advice, or an ear.

All of the boudoir session experiences are held in my Bay Street Barbados Studio.

If the schedule permits, and for an additional fee, we can discuss having your sessions at a different location or outside of Barbados. 

Plan to be with us for about 3 1/2 and hours. If you’ve opted for our complimentary hair and makeup, we start at 9:30 AM and start our session at 11 AM.

About 2 weeks after our session, I invite you back into the Studio, or on Zoom if you aren’t in Barbados for our Photo reveal and ordering appointment.

Your final products (album and wall art) will be ready 4-6 weeks after the reveal appointment

If you have a specific date in mind that you’d like your products in hand for, I’d suggest booking 2-3 months in advance of that date.

If you have a deadline to consider, please let me know what that date is as soon as you connect with me.

We are currently booking 2 months out, and products will take about 4-6 to arrive after the reveal appointment.

The session experience is $500 Barbados Dollars. This includes professional hair and makeup, wardrobe guidance, the photoshoot and the Photo reveal and ordering appointment.

Collections start at $1,500.

This is GREAT news because I’m not the typical boudoir photographer. Every single body is beautiful and should be celebrated.

Your body has done wonderful things for you and this is your time to love on you for a bit.

But more, these photographs are not just about your body. They are about bringing out the best of you.

This session is about reaching the ultimate level of confidence, so you leave my studio with your chin a little higher, and you walk a little talker.

Sessions are held on weekdays starting at 9:30 AM. We are closed on weekends.

I am a black and white specialized photographer and all photographs will be delivered in black and white.

Girl, YES! Once you book, feel free to send me email pics of your outfits. But listen hard when I say don’t stress about your clothes.

Think easy – oversized sweater or dress shirt, cheeky underwear, even your good ole’ birthday suit is an outfit.

I’ll also send you my very comprehensive Boudoir Prep Guide which will walk you through every possible piece of information you’ll need to know for our session.

Whatever you wear (or don’t), you will rock it, I promise.

Due to the nature of digital files, once you have paid for, and received your digital image files, exchanges and returns are not allowed.

I completely understand that life happens and you may need to reschedule. We ask that you let us know at least 14 days (where possible) prior to your session. We allow for one complimentary reschedule and subsequent reschedules incur a small fee.

You can share a visual moodboard with me! I think it’s really important that I understand what look you are going for during our session.

Mood boards are purely for inspiration. We definitely don’t want to recreate another photographer’s work, or even my own work!

Every client is different, and my job is to create original works of art for original works of art – (yes, you are an original work of art!)

It’s a great idea to pin or screenshot images from my portfolio (preferred actually) as it accurately represents what I photograph here in the studio.

All you need to bring are the clothes that you’d love to be photographed in and any snacks/drinks that you want to nibble or sip on for energy boosts.

Boudoir sessions are very minimalist.

Our focus and energy are on the connection we create, rather than different looks.

Creating different looks with more than one hairstyle and makeup breaks the energy and flow between us, so we limit the hairstyle and make up to one look only.

This is the number one question I get, so you aren’t alone on this one.

Remember, my boudoir sessions are about you, not about your clothes.

Having said that, it’s important to plan.

Here are a few things I suggest: Lingerie, oversized T, chunky sweater, flowey skirts, crop tops, bodysuits, blazers, cheeky panties, and nothing at all!

I would avoid patterns and polka dots and neon colors.

If there is something that is really meaningful to you, like a necklace, a hat, a scarf, etc, please bring it. Let me know what you had in mind before our session so we can plan for it!

We offer two products in our studio:

The Album handcrafted in Italy if you prefer to keep your photos private.

Acrylic Wall Art is a modern, yet timeless way to display your photos on the wall for you to walk by every day with your chin up a little higher, and a smile on your face.

We firmly believe that the photos aren’t photographs until they’re printed!

Most of my clients will purchase an Album Collection, and Wall art.

I make it really easy to plan your artwork as I show you how your photographs will look on your wall before making final decisions.

When I photograph you, I am telling your story as truthfully as possible.

I want you to see a beautiful, honest representation of yourself. I don’t want to change who you are, because believe me, you are perfect.

If there are things that are not part of your journey (hello minor acne breakout), I’ll remove those and any minor blemishes you may have.

The Photo Reveal and Ordering Appointment is when you come back into the Studio, or we meet on Zoom and review all the photographs together.

This is when you’ll decide which photos you’d like for your Collection and Wall Art.

If you pre-purchased a Collection, you can upgrade to a higher Collection, add Wall Art to your order, add more pages to your album – the sky’s the limit.

Bringing your girlfriend can help calm those nerves, it’s such a confident booster to have your wing-lady with you cheering you on!

I love it when my clients bring in one extra gal pal to the session! Do let me know if they want to book as well, I can arrange to have their session on the same day as you! It’s the ultimate girls day out!

Please keep in mind that my policies don’t allow for spouses or significant others to be present at the shoot.

About 2 weeks after our photoshoot, you’ll either come back into the Studio, or we’ll meet on Zoom for a reveal and ordering session.

This is the most exciting part of the process because we get to see the photos we created together.

It will be a really long 2 weeks, but trust me, it’s worth the wait.

Once you decide on the photos you’d like to purchase in your Album and Wall Art, the matching digital files will be available within 24 hours of final payment on an online gallery, available archived for 1 year.

Your products will be ready for pick-up 4-6 weeks after the reveal and ordering appointment.

Yes, we sure do! Ask about our options when you’re booking your session.

HECK NO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY TO KEEP THEM PRIVATE!

Your privacy is the most important thing to us and believe me when I say, your images will not see the light of day unless you allow them to be shared.

Although I’m sure you and everyone would be like, oh HELL YES these photos of you are incredible, you do not have to share if you don’t want to, and neither will I.

You’ll get a chance to give different permission levels from nothing at all, to everything in the bag and more options in between.

I 100% do not tag my boudoir clients on social media, and I’ll never share names on my blog.

I will only use the photos you give me explicit permission to use.

Head on over to Skynn Experience and tell them Aniya sent you! I always suggest a nude color which won’t take away from the images, but will add that clean and polished look.

Your digital photos are sized for printing up to 5×7.

However, due to product quality control, and the nature of boudoir photography, we do prefer that all photos be printed through the studio. We work with a lab that only works with professional photographers. This way, we can control the quality of the art we’ve created, while also guaranteeing privacy, ensuring your photos aren’t being handled and seen by just anyone.

You can use your photos for personal use, and post them on all your social media platforms.

You just can’t sell them, or publish them in a magazine with out my A-OK!
