First let me tell you this: the one thing I tell my all of my clients, boudoir or weddings, is that TRUST is KEY for us to make amazing photographs together.
Without having ever met me, it was clear that the person on the other end of the computer felt at ease with me, and although her story touched me, (it was a hard story to read), it also made me smile knowing that she could trust me – without having ever seen me.
When we got on the phone, L told me about her life, about the changes that have happened to her recently, the loss of confidence she experienced, and new adventures she was about to embark on. The last three years in a new country had been equally hard as it was wonderful, and not being able to travel home because of Covid was difficult.
This was something she needed.
The morning of the shoot, she told me, “Look, I’m a smiler, I’m gonna smile”… after she said,
It was overwhelming.”
Overwhelming ya’ll.
Being overwhelmed is sometimes the only way we feel alive. After so many ups and even more downs, she said this was the chance she took to be vulnerable with her body.
Thank you for coming into this space, and allowing me to overwhelm you, to give you some of your confidence back, and for creating photographs that you are proud of.
Till next time my friend,

MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
Tattoos are my timeline. I play tennis, read vehemently, and travel the world. Sensual, empathetic, ex-criminologist, pretty good Italian speaker. Slightly irreverent. Terrified of white lizards and frogs. Kids and elders are my storytellers.
Dancing is joy; justice is non-negotiable.
