La Cabane Barbados Wedding

Amanda and Wade are the freaking coolest. These two gems planned a wedding in Barbados, at La Cabane Restaurant on their own, and Amanda had never been here. Kudos to them.

What got me about this wedding, was the relationships between the siblings. Let me go deeper here for a second.

Amanda has two older sisters, like me, and they are literally three peas in a pod – exactly like me and my 3 sisters (one younger). When I walked into the room and saw one of Amandas sisters putting on her makeup, then the other sister doing her hair – I felt like I was home. I understood their relationship, and I wanted to make sure I photographed their energy.

A relationship like theirs is rare, and it was just so wonderful to see it.

The absolute best thing about Amanda and Wade, was how they just did not give a toss about the little things. There was no stress, no pressure – they knew what was important to them – family and friends – and that’s it.

That’s it. incredible right?
