These words are so powerful

I’ve known this angel for decades – I’m not kidding! Literal decades. I learned to play tennis at her Tennis Academy, and my kids did as well.

She is the most awesome, genuinely coolest, smartest woman I know.

So I was beyond giddy when a past client, and one of her besties, gifted her a session with me.

I knew it was going to be epic.

And it was more than I could have imagined. She commanded the attention of my camera, yet let go of all vulnerabilities.

I want to share some of her words here, because they truly hit home for me:

What have you learned to appreciate more as a woman as you go through life?

“Being free to express myself more without worrying about judgement from others ….. also more wisdom.”

How has your relationship with yourself and your body changed over time?

“as one gets older your body ages which still is a challenge to accept ….but it is the only one you have.”

What advice can you offer other women, of all ages, around fully embracing who we are in the moment?

“There will always be women that you feel are prettier , more successful ….have what appears to be a perfect life whatever that is ….but everyone has a struggle and you would often be surprised that they don’t have that perfect existence behind closed doors and you can’t press rewind and go back to change things only embrace what you have and move forward.”

If you could go back in time and meet your 18 year old self, what would you say to her?

“Give more thought to your decisions and be less selfish.”
