Pre Session Planning
We’ll plan everything. I’ll send you videos of a few beautiful locations based on the vibe you’re going for, and together we’ll lock in the exact spot where you’ll propose. We’ll talk outfits, timing, and most importantly, how the moment will unfold (and be photographed)— whether I’m hiding in plain sight or fully incognito so the surprise stays perfect. From the light to the location to the split second you drop to one knee, every detail is thoughtfully planned so the moment feels effortless when it finally happens.

Your questionnaire
Heads up — this one’s a little intense. But there’s method to the madness. If you’re the one planning the proposal, you’ll fill this out ahead of time so I can understand your relationship, your priorities, and how to make the moment unfold beautifully. After the big “YES,” it’s actually pretty special to share your answers with your partner and let them see what you wrote about them before they said YES!

Session Day: It's go time.
I’ll already be in position when you arrive — camera ready and keeping the secret mission alive until the very last second. Once you’re in the right spot, our plan goes into action within the first few minutes… and that’s when everything changes. The gasp, the tears, the “YES.” After the big question, we roll straight into a joyful, slightly euphoric celebration shoot. And if you need a drink beforehand to steady the nerves? Now’s the time. Trust me.

Your Full Gallery Delivery
Within 48 hours of your proposal, you’ll receive a handful of sneak peek images — perfect for showing off the moment to friends and family. If you’ve added on the iPhone clips, those will be ready in just 24 hours. Your full gallery will be ready within 2 weeks, and I’ll send you your official “no-later-than” delivery date so you never have to wonder. I’ll also include a quick video showing how to order prints, albums, or keepsakes straight from your gallery.

There are a few different ways we can pull this off, and we’ll choose the one that keeps the surprise completely intact. Sometimes I’m hidden, sometimes I’m nearby but unnoticed, and sometimes we set the moment up a little differently. Every proposal is unique, so we’ll talk through the options and create a plan that feels seamless and natural for you both.
How does the secret mission work?
We’ll lock in the exact location during pre-session planning. I’ll send you videos of a few options based on your vibe, and together we’ll pick the perfect spot for the proposal — where the light, mood, and surprise all come together.
Where will we have the Proposal?
As soon as you know you want me to photograph your proposal, lock it in. Bookings are confirmed with a signed agreement and full session fee. I travel all year, so if you want a Barbados proposal, book early. I also shoot around the world — if you’re in a city I’m visiting, we can make it happen there too. Check travel dates below.

How quickly will we see our photos?
Absolutely. Outfits are a big part of how your photos turn out, so I give them serious attention. Forget the “all-white” cliché—think elevated, minimal, and monochrome palettes that complement each other without stealing the spotlight. I’ll send you a detailed style guide and help you narrow down options that feel effortless and timeless.
Can you help us with what to wear?
Absolutely! Pets are family too, and I love capturing their personalities alongside yours. Just give me a heads-up so we can plan accordingly.
Can we include our pets for the proposal?
Absolutely. If you want to celebrate right after the “YES,” I can arrange champagne as an add-on so you can pop, sip, and soak in the moment together while we photograph the celebration. It’s the perfect way to turn those first few just-engaged minutes into something really special.
Can we plan extras, like champagne?
Perfect is not the goal — presence is. I’ll guide you through the moments so everything feels natural. By the time the proposal happens, all that nervous energy becomes genuine, emotional, and unforgettable photos.
What if we’re nervous or shy on camera?
Yes! If there’s something meaningful to your relationship—flowers, picnic setups, guitars, surfboards—bring it. Props can add personality and context to your photos, making them truly unique to you.
Can we bring meaningful items?
Can we have iPhone clips too?
Yes! iPhone clips are available as an add-on and capture candid, behind-the-scenes moments and the real movement of the proposal as it unfolds. Those clips are delivered within 24 hours. You can also add on a beautifully edited reel made from the footage — perfect for sharing and a great way to hold onto the energy and emotion of the moment alongside your photographs.
