Tisa came to Barbados for just three days to celebrate her 38th birthday — and she was determined to make it unforgettable. A solo trip to a small island she’d never been to? Bold. But she wanted something even bigger: an experience that would mark this moment in her life, celebrate how far she’s come, and leave her with powerful, lasting memories.
When we hopped on our planning call, she was literally touring Harrison’s Cave — because of course she was. This woman doesn’t miss a beat! We talked location, and that was easy. Tisa wanted water, sand, and beach vibes. The wild beauty of Barbados’ east coast was the clear winner.
She was game for anything, so when I suggested a sunrise shoot — complete with a 3:30 AM makeup call — her response was, “Cool!” MY. KINDA. WOMAN.
We booked her a cab (safety first!), made sure she was comfy with the early morning trek from the south coast to the east, and when we finally met in person, we shared the biggest hug. It felt like meeting an old friend.
Tisa absolutely glowed. The waves crashed, the wind moved through her hair, and she just owned every part of the experience.
I’m always in awe of women who travel alone, who live life boldly, unapologetically — who say yes to themselves, and no to waiting for anyone else’s permission.
Tisa is one of those women. And she inspired the hell out of me.
So if you’re reading this, consider this your nudge:
Do the thing.
Take the trip.
Book the shoot.
Celebrate your damn self.
Do it on your terms. Do it for you.
Ready to celebrate yourself like Tisa did? Whether you’re coming to Barbados for a solo trip, a birthday, or just because — a boudoir session is one of the most powerful gifts you can give yourself.

Tattoos are my timeline. I play tennis, read vehemently, and travel the world. Sensual, empathetic, ex-criminologist, pretty good Italian speaker. Slightly irreverent. Terrified of white lizards and frogs. Kids and elders are my storytellers.
Dancing is joy; justice is non-negotiable.
