Kimberly & Dave: Waves Hotel Barbados Wedding

I was in Toronto with all 4 kids when I rushed into one of the office of our apartment to have our first meeting on Zoom with Kimberly and Dave. When Kimberly came on, I was struck by her beauty and warmth. When Dave joined the call, I understood in a millisecond their connection. Together they had the biggest hearts, and I could not wait to photograph their wedding.

Fast forward a year and a half later, I walked up to Kim’s Room the Waves Hotel & Spa in St James. It was a space of the most wonderful energy, as Kim’s closest girlfriends and her mom just loved on her.

But what warmed my heart, was the moment Dave saw Kim enter the grand doors of St. James Parish Church. The tears filled up his eyes, and then when Kim got close, it was as though he couldn’t contain himself. Forever smiling at Kim, forever looking at and for her, it was something beautiful to see.

Kim and Dave, your love is some kind of wonderful. Thank you for sharing this with me, and for letting me tell your story.
