A few months before this glorious day, Bethany reached out to me to photograph her wedding. Usually clients reach out about a year in advance, and this was just a testament to how cool and easy she and Corey were.
After a few emails, I just knew this was going to be a freaking special day – not only because, of course, all weddings are special… but this one was extra.
Bethany’s sister, Amy, of Amy Harper, did her hair and makeup. Bethany’s mom and dad officiated the wedding ceremony, and, Corey’s friends who have grown up with him since primary school, were there for him.
Walking together up the aisle, Bethany’s bare feet carrying her to the alter, hand in hand with Corey, they laughed, cried a little, and sealed it, overlooking the east coast at the beautiful Peg Farm..
Thank you so much Bethany and Corey, for just being unapolegitically you. For not giving a shit about tradition, or should-do’s.
And Im so freaking stoked I got to photograph it…

Hey, I’m Aniya (Ah-Knee-Ya) – the ultimate empath and storyteller.
That’s a weird combo, isn’t it?
Kind of, but not really.
I have strong feelings about pretty much everything. And because of this, I know the value of a moment that needs to be photographed.
My clients have coined me a “Connection specialist”, and I’ll happy take that.
Whether I’m photographing your wedding, your family, or your awesome self in my studio, I’m feeling your feels, and making damn honest, beautiful photographs for you.

Tattoos are my timeline. I play tennis, read vehemently, and travel the world. Sensual, empathetic, ex-criminologist, pretty good Italian speaker. Slightly irreverent. Terrified of white lizards and frogs. Kids and elders are my storytellers.
Dancing is joy; justice is non-negotiable.
